Holmen Lutheran Church is a people with a rich history moving forward in the hope of following Jesus Christ. Begun in 1907, our congregation has been passing on the faith for generations and seeks to continue to be God’s hands and feet in the world. We are a part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the ELCA.
You are welcome. Every week at Holmen Lutheran Church you will hear this invitation to the table—and we mean it. Regardless of whether you are a believer, a doubter, a seeker or a curious onlooker, you are created in God’s image.
Christ’s unconditional grace and love, in this beautifully diverse world, is for any age, physical appearance, skin tone, physical and mental health, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, citizenship, political affiliation, education, or economic status. You are welcome, no matter your story, regardless of what you have done or has been done to you.
God makes no exceptions, and we strive to do the same as we continue to grow with the help of the Holy Spirit. You are a child of God and are welcome to join us in worship, prayer, service to others, and the work of Jesus. We are better together.

Holmen Lutheran Church is blessed with generous people filled with Christ’s love. The Holmen Lutheran Church Trust Foundation is an independent non-profit corporation established in 1979.
Its goal is to maintain funds for use to enhance HLC projects, programs, and ministries. A seven-member Board of Trustees—six elected by the congregation plus the Pastor—evaluates applications and makes decisions on the use of the funds according to the bylaws of the Foundation.
The Trust Foundation is ideal for extra gifts beyond faithful stewardship to HLC. It encourages putting the Foundation in your will and estate plan to perpetuate the spirit of giving to future generations.
Major contributors are recognized on the Friends of the Trust Foundation plaque in the narthex. Currently, gifts of $500 are noted as major contributions.
A brochure entitled “Consider Investing in Church Ministries” is available in the narthex. It contains a form for use in making donations to the Trust Foundation.
A Holmen Lutheran Church Trust Foundation Application for Funding is available here, in the church office, or in the narthex. That form further explains the work of the Foundation and how to apply for funding.
Use this form to send us a message, a prayer request, or to subscribe to our weekly email newsletters.
